Abstract

This talk describes the future of the biotech industry in the 21st century and what leaders and entrepreneurs are doing to promote the impact and innovation of the revolution in bioscience, engineering, and technology.

The talk describes Keck Graduate Institute's two-year program culminates in the professional Masters of Bioscience (MBS) degree. Designed to educate leaders for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare product, and bioagricultural industries, Keck Graduate Institute's interdisciplinary curriculum integrates biological systems, computational biology and bioengineering, with management, finance, and bioethics. KGI's applied research programs focus on commercializing new discoveries in the life sciences to create products and processes beneficial to society.
