Abstract

This year's initial CIS colloquia have been designed to introduce our students to the research happening in our department. For this and several of the following weeks, CIS professors will give short overviews of their research. Any students interested in exploring opportunities for doing research should attend, including undergraduates.

This week's speakers will be:
Prof. Andrzej Proskurowski: "GROW: graph classes, optimization and width parameters".
Prof. Dejing Dou: "Research in Advanced Integration and Mining Lab".
Prof. Daniel Lowd: "Learning and Reasoning with Probabilistic Graphical Models".
