Abstract
This year's initial CIS colloquia have been designed to introduce our students to the research happening in our department. For this and several of the following weeks, CIS professors will give short overviews of their research. Any students interested in exploring opportunities for doing research should attend, including undergraduates.
This week's speakers will be:
Prof. Michal Young: "Software Engineering = Computer Science + Human Developers"
Prof. Anthony Hornof: "An Introduction to Cognitive Modeling for Human-Computer Interaction"
Prof. Kevin Butler: "Trust No One? Making Informed Trust Decisions in Systems and Networks"
