Class of 2004

The Computer and Information Science Department offers contact with fellow CIS alumni, professors and current students. This website has room for your contact information and notes to keep your classmates informed, and also information on opportunities to network with the current members of the deptartment. The main CIS website contains links to news and events occuring in the deptartment.

The University of Oregon Alumni Association offers many services to CIS graduates such as an events calendar, regional associations, and the ability to find other alumni according to location, occupation, company or year of graduation. Also, UO alumni can obtain a permanent email address through the UOAA.

Smaragdakis Paper Selected "Best Paper" at ASE Conference

A paper titled "Scalable Automatic Test Data Generation from Modeling Diagrams" written by Yannis Smaragdakis and two of his former students at Georgia Tech received the "Best Paper" award out of 37 presented papers and 312 total submissions at the conference on Automated Software Engineering in November 2007.
