DEADLINES: The Marquess of Queensbury's

Great Keepers of Set Times and Places."

Programming Projects

Projects are due at the start of class on their assigned due date, and are late thereafter. Please do not miss class to complete an assigment as it will be considered late 5 minutes after the start of class.

Projects will be accepted up to one day late for 50% credit. After that projects will be accepted only with PRIOR instructor approval.

Exceptions to this will be granted only in situations that were clearly both unavoidable and unpredictable. This DOES NOT include late flights, malfunctioning alarm clocks, etc. We're talking about medical emergencies, complete with a doctors note, and the ilk.

You must inform the instructor if you are turning work in late. In particular, note that late work will not be graded if submitted "by stealth." For example, do not submit project 3 along with your project 4, do not slide projects under an office door, do not ask CIS office staff to place late work in your instructor's mailbox, etc. It must be clearly marked with the (late) turn in time, and handed directly to your instructor.

Quizzes:

There are no early or make-up exams. Plan to be in class every Thursday. If you miss a quiz, that will be your dropped score, and you will need to take the final comprehensive quiz.
