Grading Rubric final Project

Project Requirements. Total points 100.

C-Level (75/100): Complete Part I.
B-Level (85/100): Complete Parts I and II.
A-Level (100/100): Complete Parts I, II and III.
  1. Web Pages on shell.uoregon.edu: 75.

    10. header-bg.html. Complete Branching Out exercise #1, PDF p. 280. As a minimum, just use shell-fade.jpg for the background of the H1 element; omit any changes to the H3 element.

    10. flip.html. Complete Branching Out exercise #2, PDF p. 280.

    10. flip-colors.html. Choose new, compatible colors for the four states of the links in the div#content section.

    index-css.html (or index-110.html-- both names are OK).

    10. Create a new index page incorporating Eric Meyer's layout and background style rules. You can simply copy Eric Meyer's finished tutorial and change the links and content for your index page.

    10. If you use Eric Meyer's backgrounds or any other copyrighted images on index-110.html, you must give a citation on your page.

    10. The links in index-110.html's div#links section must include the links from P3-A's div.leftNav section.

    10. Add some CSS Buttons to div#content. Learn how in this css button tutorial. Example: See the Jump To section, below.

    5. Include your Project URL in Blackboard in the Comments section when you Submit this final project.

  2. VLT Wiki Page: 10. Save the P4 Wiki Front Page under a new name and link it to the new front page so that it's still accessible. Name the link P4 Wiki Page.

    Although you collaborate as a team to create a new Front Page devoted to your selected topic, each VLT member will earn these 10 projects points individually. If a team member does not make a significant contribution to the Front Page, that team member will not earn these project points.

    10. Each VLT Team member must add one resource to the new Front Page that relates to the selected topic.

  3. Your Blogger Page: Add a YouTube Video Playlist. 15.

    15. Add a video playlist to your 110 blog.

    To receive these project points you must submit your blog URL in Blackboard in the Comments section.

  4. Extra Credit Option. No-scroll Links. +5 pts added to FP score.

    5. div#links section does not scroll when div#content is scrolled.

    Do not spend any time on extra credit problems until you have completed all project requirements. Extra credit does not substitute for sub-standard work or requirements not completed.

    If you do not use this BB assignment turn-in feature, you will not have a score entered for this project in the gradebook, so please do not forget to do this on or before the due-date.
