DEADLINES
The Marquess of Queensbury's Rules

   "[Instructors] are a Superstitious Sect,
Great Keepers of Set Times and Places."
	    -- Poor Richard's Almanac

"We don't have time to stop for gas, we're already late."
-- M. Cleron (on how software projects are often run)
A due-date is like an appointment you have with an important client. If it's not possible for you to keep the appointment, you should make every effort to contact that person to let her/him know, and make other arrangements. If you "stand up" your client and make no contact to explain the circumstances, you should not expect any special treatment.

Programming Projects

Projects are due on or before 9:00 p.m. Friday of the due-date.

No late papers are accepted without your instructor's prior approval.

If you have a legitimate, verifiable, reason for missing a deadline, please contact your instructor or GTF as soon as possible before the due-date, so that you can make arrangements. If that is not possible, contact your instructor or GTF at the first opportunity after the due-date.

Do not submit late work without contacting your instructor or GTF. It will not be graded.

If your work is late, you must discuss the situation with your instructor or GTF and, if possible, please do it in advance.

Individual Projects

Individual projects (as opposed to Virtual Learning Team Projects) must be done working solo or with one partner. Working jointly on these projects with partners is not an option. See Policy on Plagiarism for details.

(Virtual) Learning Team Projects

VLT projects are intended to be collaborative, group efforts. Your individual contributions to the VLT may be tracked and assessed individually.
