CIT 381 Homework

Fall 2007

All work is due by 4:30 of the specified due date. Late assignments will be accepted - with a 10% per day penalty - until the sample solutions are posted.

You may turn it in by

• giving it to the instructor or GTF during a class or lab
• putting it in the drop box in Deschutes Hall
• emailing it to the GTF (paea@cs.uoregon.edu) as a PDF file (Cute PDF is freeware for printing PDFs, Adobe Acrobat is the popular professional product). Please follow simple email etiquette:
  • A digital (emailed) turn-in should be treated the same (in every other way) as a printed or handwritten assignment.
  • Compiled as ONE file (think of it as stapling loose sheets together). That is, one attachment in PDF (not 4 or 5 attachments).
  • Proper identification: Name, CIT 381, Assignment Number, Date. (Put this IN the document, not just in your email.)
  • Problem description, number, and your solution. Add any additional notes if you want to clarify your solution.

• Assignment 2 was due Friday, October 26. (sample solution)

• Assignment 3 is due Tuesday, November 13. (sample solution)

• Assignment 4 is due Tuesday, November 20. (sample solution)

Examinations

• The first midterm was on Thursday, November 1. (sample solution)

• The second midterm will be on Thursday, November 29.

Final Project

The final project is due Friday, December 7. A preliminary design is due well before that (November 8).
