Even though the final is comprehensive, will there be more of a focus on post midterm topics?
My enigmatic answer:
To a degree, but not to the exclusion of the midterm topics. Comprehensive is the operative word.
- (08-06-06) The final exam will take place in class on Tuesday, June 10 at 10:15. It will be open book and one page of notes. During the weekend I will post a marginally helpful second part of the study guide (to be concatenated with the first part posted for the midterm.)

- Would be helpful to see specific examples. Keep on reminding me.
- Socratically constructing a formula or an algorithm can be both useful and very time consuming. Sometimes it's better to simply state the formula and then discuss it. Good point -- depends on the measure of goodness.
- Assign homework on Friday. Any day is bad for somebody.

- At first I didn't like it when you made us participate, but now I like it because I get more out of class that way. Need I say more: I had to quote it verbatim...

MWST algorithms.
