What you will do in lab

Your lab instructor will help you to complete the steps necessary to install your web applications in AWS EC2:

1. EC2 Setup: Connecting to your EC2 AMI Instance.
   
   
2. Dreamweaver Setup for EC2.
   
   
3. Configuring MySql on your EC2 AMI Instance.
   
   
4. Migrating your MySQL Database to your EC2 AMI Instance.
   
   
5. Editing the MySQL Connection in DW to work with your EC2 AMI Instance.

Labs Start On the Hour

Please arrive at 026 Kla early enough to be seated and do the following:

• start FireFox, login to our Blackboard course site, open Schedule > Class Calendar
• start Dreamweaver
• start SSH and connect to shell.uoregon.edu
  
• in SSH, connect to your EC2 machine as "root"

If you arrive late, your lab instructor will not be able to take time away from the other students to fill you in on what you missed.
