- Some of you wanted to know how to play sounds using python. Sounds are one thing that isn't very platform independent, but it turns out that there is an easy way to do it on the mac if you are running a relatively new mac with at least OS X.5 on it. Here's an example that loads an mp3 file named mySound.mp3 and plays it for 6 seconds.

- I've adjusted the schedule somewhat to address the fact that we went a bit slower in class today than I expected. Don't panic, I won't try to move faster than you guys can handle. Note also that we won't have a quiz on Friday this week. I haven't decided when I want it to be, either Thursday this week or not until Tuesday next week.

- Don't forget to practice programming outside of class! I've posted my solutions to the stuff we did in class today, and it is important for everyone to play with them and get comfortable with the ideas and concepts.
