CIS 422 Software Methodologies

each student should please submit a 1-page PDF to the Canvas assignment entitled "Project 2 - Ideation".
In this PDF, please describe a project that you might like to do for Project 2. Feel free to discuss with other students, but every student should submit a separate idea.
Your project description should include:
(a) a project title,
(b) your name and a date,
(c) a very brief description of what the system will do,
(d) why it would be a fun project, and
(e) what technologies you might use to build it.
Three criteria that you should try to meet:
(a) Your project must be for someone else, not for you. For example, not a tool that you need, but a tool that someone else needs.
(b) Try to address some sort of real-world need, such as to advance science, improve health or fitness, support education, improve equality, or help people who are in need or disenfranchised.
(c) Try to propose something new, something that doesn't exist now.
Please submit a single PDF file, with your idea on one side, filling the page with the largest font you can.
We will view the project ideas in class. Please come to class prepared to describe your idea(s) in about 30 seconds.
It is okay if your idea is for a project that you would not know how to build, or that might even be impossible to build.
