Bioinformatics Track

Bioinformatics

Effective Fall 2006


The Bioinformatics Track can be used to satisfy the track requirements of the CIS Major. Some of the courses can also be the foundation for a minor in Biology. If you are interested in the Biology minor, you should consult with an advisor in the Biology department to determine how to finish the minor requirements.

Biology (12-15 credits)  
You must take one of the following sequences. Before you take the Biology sequences, you must fulfill the appropriate Chemistry prerequisite for the sequence you choose (see the Biology section of the UO Catalog). BI 212 is not required for this track. These courses may be taken Pass/No Pass or Graded
