Call for Workshop Proposals
|
|
ICSE Workshops provide a forum to discuss topics in software engineering. They may last from one to two days, and be held before or after the main conference. Participation in ICSE workshops is typically open.
Proposal Submission
Proposals must not exceed four pages in length, and must be submitted electronically in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Please use the proposal templates we provide for your submission. Submit your proposal to baresi@elet.polimi.it.
We strongly encourage you to communicate the topic of your workshop to the workshop co-chairs as early as possible to be able to identify and resolve conflicts and overlaps well before the submission deadline.
Evaluation Criteria
Workshop proposals will be reviewed by the ICSE 2009 Workshop Program Committee. Acceptance will be based on:
- Evaluation of the workshop's potential to advance the state of software engineering research and/or practice
- Timeliness and expected interest in the topic
- Organizers’ ability to lead a successful workshop
- Balancing and synergies in ICSE events
Acceptance
Each accepted workshop will have two (2) pages for a summary in the conference proceedings. Upon notification of acceptance, all authors of accepted workshops will be asked to complete an IEEE Copyright form and will receive further instructions for preparing their camera ready versions according to the ICSE 2009 Format and Submission Guidelines.
Workshop organizers must limit the length of any requested workshop papers to 11 pages and must follow the ICSE 2009 Format and Submission Guidelines.
Workshop Registration
All participants, including workshop organizers, keynote speakers, and invited guests, must pay registration fees for the workshop. Workshop organizers can work with the co-chairs to specify the services they wish to employ.
