- CIS 410 Career Mentorship Seminar and Tours
This course features a series of guest speakers from industry and academia who will discuss topics related to careers in computer science, including new interdisciplinary fields such as bioinformatics, informatics, digital arts, and business information systems. Students will participate in one or two (limited capacity) tours on campus or in Eugene/Springfield. See flyers around the department for more information.

Google Workshop for Women Engineers has been established to promote and encourage increased female representation in science and engineering.
Outstanding women students currently pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees from universities across the nation will be able to meet their peers and join in a weekend of workshops, meet Google engineers and learn more about life as a Computer Scientist/Engineer at Google. We hope to attract your top students so that your school will be well represented at this exciting and worthwhile event.
