The UO CIS Department and UO Career Center has partnered with local Eugene Businesses and the Software Association of Oregon to offer a summer internship program to enhance students' professional skills and provide an opportunity to explore careers in the field. An internship is a paid mentored work experience. The student can also receive up to four CIS internship credits.
The Career Center @ UO provides a comprehensive range of services, programs, and materials focusing on career exploration & decision making, skill development, experiential learning, and career placement. It is an excellent resource so it is worth spending some time exploiting it
GTF (Graduate Teaching Fellowship) is the term used at the UO for teaching, research, and administrative assistantships. To be eligible to apply for a GTF, you must be a regularly admitted Master's or Doctoral student.
