University is located midway between the Iidabashi and Ichigaya Stations of the
Japan Railway (JR)s' Chuo-Sobu line. Surrounded by the former imperial outer
moat and the thickly wooded Yasukuni Shrine, the campus, although in the center
of the city, is embraced by a fresh green and calm atmosphere. Carrying on the
history and traditions of its 77 years as the main campus, Ichigaya is
preparing to lead the university into its second century.
