Abstract

Four students will discuss their experiences at the recent Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2004, the fifth in a series of conferences that highlight the research and careers of women in computing. Admiral Grace Hopper developed the first computer compiler in 1949, and published her first paper on compilers in 1952. Dr. Hopper's futuristic visions and outstanding contributions continue to inspire computer scientists everywhere.
