Abstract
To help PhD students properly plan and make a good progress, the Graduate Education Committee (GEC) has put together a sample roadmap. GEC will present this roadmap, a few other suggestions on how to conduct your PhD research and some important administrative issues related to the PhD program in this colloquium session at 3:30pm on October 10. All current PhD students in the CIS department are *required* to attend this colloquium and participate in the discussion.
