Welcome to Computer Science Advising FALL 2024!

Advising for Computer Science majors is provided mainly by Tykeson Hall Academic and Career Advisors.

You may schedule an appointment with a Tykeson Academic and Career Advisor via Navigate or call to book an appointment through Tykeson Hall Reception: 541-346-9200.

COMPUTER SCIENCE MAJOR PROGRESS REVIEW AND AMP-CS ADVISING

Major Progress Check In and AMP-CS scheduled advising appointments for CS upper-division majors will resume in Week 2 of Spring term.
Scroll down to schedule an appointment.

All Computer Science and MACS majors in 300-level or higher major courses are strongly encouraged to meet with a CS faculty advisor for a Major Progress Check In as soon as possible after beginning 300-level courses.

Students who are interested in applying to the CS Accelerated B.S./M.S. Program (AMP-CS) should also schedule an advising appointment with a CS faculty advisor.

The purpose of the Major Progress Check In is to discuss student interests and goals, choose a concentration for upper-division electives, create a graduation plan, and learn about resources and opportunities available to upper-division students in the major.

To make the best use of this time, you can prepare by reviewing the appropriate Major Progress Check In form.
