The NSF/ICOT Workshop on Parallel Logic Programming and its Programming Environments was held at the University of Oregon on March 4-6 1994. The primary goal 9f the workshop was the exchange of research results in the important areas of concurrent symbolic language implementation, and environments to aid program de. velopment. About forty international researchers attended the workshop, giving over twenty invited technical presentations. The proceedings of these talks are compiled here: topics include compilation, runtime systems, environments, concurrent constraints, and execution models.

This workshop was funded through the generosity of the Institute for New GenerĀation Computer Technology (ICOT) and the National Science Foundation (NSF grant 9403574).
