Project 1 Deliverables

A. Hornof - January 11, 2009

This document lists the specifically-assigned deliverables for Project 1. It will likely be updated throughout the project.

Technology Demo

Due Jan. 13 in class. One demo and one written summary per student.

This should include a live demo of some code that you compiled that enables you to call a phone and ideally, record and playback some audio from the phone call. Bonus would include responding to a keypress on the other end, and a demo of some voice-recognition code that you compiled. Each person should have their own demo, though their teammates can help. If you do not have a laptop to bring to class, please try to arrange with one of your group members who does, so that you can do your demo on their laptop, but do not expect the demo to work if you load up the software at the start of class; you need to install and troubleshoot before class. Each group member should use a different language or development environment or API. Many are listed in the Project 1 sketch.

Along with a live demo, each student should submit a one- or two-page single space typed summary of the technologies that they tried and what they learned during the process that will assist with the project. These notes should be useful to yourself, to your group, and to other students in the class, if anyone were to read them. Put your name and a date on everything you turn in for this class. Follow the "Good Writing" guidelines on the syllabus.

Initial Project Plan / SRS / SDS
