Portland, Oregon, November 5-11, 2006
Advance Program: [Schedule at a glance] or Comprehensive [US Letter] or [A4]
Registration
Review registration fees. Online registration is closed, but you may register on site with Visa, Mastercard, or personal check (no cash, please).
Student authors, including Doctoral Consortium participants, may also consider applying to the SIGSOFT CAPS program to defray costs of attending.
Local Transportation
Take the Tri-Met Max light rail line from Portland International Airport to Lloyd Center. Check the schedule at http://www.trimet.org. Enter "pdx" as starting point and "Doubletree Lloyd Center" as destination. It's the fastest way in, and at $2 it's a bargain.
Public transportation is excellent in Portland, and the Max line runs right by the hotel, so there is really no reason to rent a car unless you plan a tour of the Oregon coast, the Columbia Gorge, or other Northwest attractions.
