Classes in HCI taught at the UO

Basic courses in HCI and User Interfaces are offered at the senior/beginning graduate level (CIS 443/543 User Interfaces), and advanced graduate courses (CIS 677 Knowledge-based Interfaces and CIS 607 HCI Seminar). Within the Computer and Information Science Dept. there are a number of other complementary courses in graphics, visualization and software engineering. From other departments students in HCI can take a rich array of pertinent courses in cognitive science, psychology, linguistics and sociology.
