The goals of the HCI group include:
- Basic research into the theory of human-computer interaction:
- cognitive modeling

- display and control technologies (joystick, color, etc.)
- on-line help systems and educational systems
- graphic interfaces

- Specification & rapid prototyping tools for user interface design:
