Gender-Bias Harassment
Participants are encouraged to report gender-based discrimination including sexual harassment, sexual assault and sexual violence to the Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance or by calling Help for Victims and Survivors at 541-346-7233 (541-346-SAFE). You can also make a complaint anonymously with the Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance link above.

Smoking, Vaping, and Tobacco
- University regulations prohibit the use of any form of tobacco products, or the use of other products by smoking or vaping on any lands owned by the University of Oregon.
- Local ordinances prohibit smoking or vaping on city transit, at transit stations, in public parks, outdoors in designated business areas (legally designated in the ordanice, not through posted signage, so if you are not from here, effectively anywhere except private residences).
- Local and state ordinances prohibit discarding of cigarette butts or other refuse on public streets or in undesignated public areas.
- Local and state ordinances prohibit discarding lit cigarettes or otherwise starting fires in refuse bins.
- Oregon state law prohibits smoking or vaping in any public buildings, any work place, and within 10 feet of a doorway, ventilation intake, or operating window (whether currently opened or not) of any workplace, or within 25 feet of those features of any public building. Exceptions are provided for approved designated outdoor areas adjacent to bars or taverns.

Alcohol
- OPLSS policy prohibits alcohol in the OPLSS residence hall or lecture hall except when served by OLCC-licensed servers.
- Oregon law prohibits the consumption of alcohol by persons under 21, or the sale or distribution of alcohol to persons under 21.
- University of Oregon policy prohibits the possession of alcohol on campus.
- Bars and taverns in Oregon are required to inspect identification of any person entering the premises. Restaraunts are required to inspect identification of any person consuming alcohol on the premises. Bars, taverns, and resaraunts are prohibited from serving liquor to anyone who is visibly intoxicated.

Cannabis and Other Controlled Substances
- Oregon law provides for the sale of cannabis for medical or recreational use from licensed facilities only.
- Oregon law prohibits the free distribution of cannabis to members of the public. Causing an individual to ingest cannabis, tobacco products or any state or federally controlled substance unknowingly is prohibited.
- Oregon law prohibits possession of cannabis by individuals under 21, including minors being in the State of Oregon within 24 hours of using cannabis.
- Smoking or vaping of cannabis products by anyone on University of Oregon land or at University of Oregon events is prohibited by University of Oregon regulations.

University of Oregon Rules of Conduct
All rules of conduct in the above link apply while on University of Oregon grounds, or participanting in OPLSS programs off campus.
In particular,- Misuse of computing resources, including violations of copyright law and exposing the University of Oregon computing network to computer viruses is prohibited. Note: If you have a computer virus on your computer, or your computer does not contain the most recent virus detection software, your access to the network may be terminated.
- Failing to follow verbal or written instructions by university officials, including posted signs designating unauthorized zones, is prohibited.

University of Oregon Housing Regulations
Click the link above to find the UO Housing Regulations. Failure to adhere to UO Housing Regulations will result in expulsion from the Residence Hall.
Participants violating State and local law will be subject to legal law enforcement procedures which may include fines, incarceration, or expulsion from the United States. No refunds will be issued as a result of law enforcement procedures.
Students violating University of Oregon Rules of Conduct may be subject to removal from University of Oregon grounds. No refunds will be issued as a result of enforcement of University of Oregon Rules of Conduct.
Students violating University of Oregon Housing Regulations will be able to attend the subsequent lectures, but must find their own living facilities. No refunds will be issued as a result of enforcement of University of Oregon Housing Regulations.
